We are lucky enough to have a several of the nation’s best Real Heritage Pubs in our branch area. This is a list of nationally important pub interiors maintained by CAMRA’s Pub Heritage Group. It’s not the quality of the ale that qualifies a pub for inclusion, but having a historic interior from whatever period. Luckily heritage architecture and good beer (or cider) go well together, so neither the drinker nor the historian will be disappointed. So of the 270 pubs on this list, here’s the ones in our patch.
- Cider House (aka Monkey House), Defford
- Three Kings, Hanley Castle
- Bush, St. John’s Worcester
- Paul Pry, Worcester
- Punch Bowl, Worcester
In addition to the top-flight interiors, there’s also a list of regionally important pubs.
