Hartelbury – 23rd April 2016
The team who organise Worcester’s Beer, Cider and Perry festival got to go out and party! The venue was the home of Worcestershire Brewing company on Hartlebury railway station. The old station ticket office and waiting rooms are the Tap House bar and restaurant, while the brewery is in the old station yard.
There were two “local” beers on the bar, accompanied by three others from far flung places such as Enville. The food was excellent too and a good time was had by all.
Most trains don’t stop at Hartlebury, but no problem spending the evening here if you come from Malvern and Worcester. The last train home is quarter to eleven – but you have to leave the pub in time to cross the tracks before the barrier comes down, so plan ahead.
